Having recently been browbeaten persuaded by flickgc and at least one fishlifter, I have actually got round to joining They Came And Shaved Us and booking a hotel room. (Six more memberships left for anyone who is similarly dilatory).

I'd now like someone to reassure me that I won't actually be the oldest person at the convention. I'm too young to be an old fogey. At least, I had better be too young to be an old fogey.

I will, of course, be carefully assessing the convention's narrative momentum.

Can't remember, it was ages ago (like a year) and I did it by fax. Hmmm....

They asked me if I wanted a confirmation when I booked, and I said yes. Perhaps you said no. Or perhaps your confirmation got eaten by the Royal Mail's post-eating goats.
