No information currently available except for these pictures.

They've added a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, thus fixing the main problem with the N800. Also looks like better camera placement. I'm not sure where they've put most of the buttons, but there's no picture of the top.

Two of the images have a screenshot of a map. If they've added built-in GPS as well, then this is an incredibly useful little gadget.

I bought an N800 last week when the price dropped to $250, obviousuy in anticipation of this announcement. Its a fun toy, but the UI is a bit clunky. I plan to use it as a descrete PC while on my travels.

Possibly. I'm wary of becoming [livejournal.com profile] autopope who fills his suitcase with gadgets, as that's really not appropriate for stuffing in a rucksack in South America. As all I'd want to write is LJ postings, I suspect internet cafes will be more common and practical than wifi points. I've not tried external keyboards in the USB port yet as I need a normal to micro USB box rather than cable, but that might be worth a try before I invest in a new keyboard.
