An Announcement

With immediate effect, I am abdicating from the position of Global Dictator. Not only are there a few unenlightened souls who mysteriously feel it necessary to reject my authority, but managing all those Minions was becoming too much of an administrative burden. I am not appointing a successor.

I'd like to thank all my Minions who worked so tirelessly to make the world a better, or at least better-regulated, place. As with the collapse of any great empire, they are now expected to start a civil war and carve out whatever fiefdoms they can from the shattered remains.

George W Bush is in charge again. I'm sure that makes everyone feel much better.

This seems a reasonable arrangement, and if you are a sufficiently obsequious and loyal minion, I might even allow you to choose to be eaten earlier if watching all that terror and suffering gets a bit too much for you.
