Another Year, Another Pub

As reported elsewhere, the Barley Mow had problems again last night. We didn't have the upstairs room, apparently because last time too many people were coming downstairs to buy the real ales that weren't on upstairs. And they thought there'd be room, but it was pretty crowded and noisy. So there's a new poll on PNN (look in the bottom left corner) asking that perennial question: Where should we go now?

Now, bear in mind I've never been in either of the following pubs,so treat the following suggestions with care.
The London Macintosh Users Group is meeting on Monday in The Clarence Pub on Dover Street near Green Park.
In the past the LMUG met at the "Crown and Two Chairmen" near Oxford Street. I don't know why they changed.
Like I said, I've never been in either pub but if they are/were suitable for LMUG, they might be worth checking out for the 'Tun. LMUG's Website is http://www.lmug.org.uk and you will find e-mail links there to the committee members if you want to contact them.

Dave is it worth commuting to, you know, at a few eurpo a throw, we could have sci-fi club meeting there too, what do you think?
