Upgrading

I just entered the rather dangerous command "apt-get dist-upgrade" on my headless hosted Linux server, going from Debian 3.1 to 4.0. Wish me luck, because it might be tricky to recover if it goes wrong.

I don't know what a headless hosted Linux server is but it sounds scary. I've only had to rescue with knoppix 3 out of 15 of my workstation upgrades so far.

There, but for the grace of snapshotted storage, go I.
