Reptiles: 2 Smooth Softshell Turtle. It appears that there are at least two different species of released chelonian in Canada Water, as this one is a smooth softshell turtle and not a red-eared terrapin.
It's the northern half of the disused Canada Dock in south-east London which was retained as an ornamental water feature, with a wildlife area, when the rest of the dock was filled in and built on. It's about 1/3 mile from where we live.
