If we'd had a postal delivery before leaving home yesterday, I would now be reading the eagerly-awaited seventh and final volume in a long-running series. Yes, my copy of The Sons of Heaven shipped from Amazon on Wednesday, but I don't have it yet.
I think Amazon just gave up trying to fulfil anything that wasn't HP7. I ordered mine on Wednesday, with 5 or 6 other items. HP arrived this morning, and the others were despatched by Home Delivery Service yesterday ...
