I had a call from the manager of Walkers. He says that the Goose on Holborn would be willing to take us in and give us their private downstairs room, and that they have food and a wider range of real ale than Walkers. He's going to get the manager there to give me a call.

Anyone familiar with the pub? (It used to be called the Sir Christopher Hatton).

It's here, closer to the Tube and buses than Walkers, so I imagine the location would be OK.

If it's related to the Goose in Walthamstow then it's a cheap food and drink pub not unlike Walkers. The Walthamstow Goose used to have an absolute ban on kids; I know we don't have many kids anyway.
