Teh interweb is borked again

Level(3)'s network has been largely down for over an hour, and you may be seeing connectivity problems (if you can get online at all; I think several major US ISPs connect through Level(3)). This isn't a commercial problem like the Level(3)/Cogent spat from a couple of weeks ago, it's a major technical failure of some kind.

So maybe that's why half the sites I tried to reach in the past couple of hours weren't responding. Things seem to be getting back to normal.

I can get reasonably good access through NTL right now. Hooray. Except that their SMTP server isnt responding. I think it is time to use my own again. Bum.

I haven't been able to get mail from NTL all day, not by POP3 or webmail. Could this be part of the same prob., or just their usual crapness.
