I really couldn't tell you. I'm not a first-thursday ite other than its useful if I want to see fannish friends. However the one person I spoke to is [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and he has mentioned it in his journal.
Not all that much. We didn't have the upstairs room, and apparently when coth asked the landlord to turn the music down he made some pleased-with-himself remark about having managed to fill his pub with SF fans by closing the upstairs room and turning up the music. Fliers were circulated suggesting that we go back to the Flo now that the landlord has gone.
To add to what drplokta has said, the staff at the Mow also don't give full measure without being asked (and frequently still don't after having been asked), which is a bit off-putting for us provincial types to whom a £2.85 pint is the stuff of nightmares.
