Patty (WINOLJ, but may be soon) is coming to stay again for a week and a bit, just before Christmas. So, apart from the Lord of the Rings exhibition at the Science Museum and the Heath Robinson exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, does anyone know of anything interesting that will be going on?

If she likes RPGs and other hobby games there's the Dragonmeet convention on 13th December at Kensington Town Hall; www.dragonmeet.com for details.

Coincidentally, I was just reading [livejournal.com profile] whumpdotcom's journal, in which he was recommending that UK readers should go to the V&A's new exhibition Zoomorphic, which looked, well, jolly interesting. If I was still capable of doing two exhibitions on one day, I'd combine it with LOTR. (And you do realise that if you take Patty to LOTR, then you'll be stuck babysitting while the rest of us go see it at New Year, don't you?)

More prosaically, buy the Evening Standard on a Thursday; Hot Tickets includes reviews of all opening exhibitions, and quick listings for all the others.

Things to do in London...

National Theatre double of Pullman's His Dark Materials?
