Baking

Today I have mostly been baking. Been through about a kilo each of butter and sugar, and three kilos of flour.

We have:
  • Sourdough bread (I hope -- it's not rising very well)
  • Cheesy puff pastry parcels with prosciutto and anchovy
  • Tablet
  • Caramel sauce
  • Apple and caramel muffins
  • Jam tarts
  • Cheese wafers
  • Spiced mixed nuts
  • Mixed fruit pies (raspberry, blueberry and apple)
  • A Victoria sponge

More baking tomorrow, but mostly bread and scones.

Well. I just made a batch of banana yogurt muffins which were very moist and tasty, but now I feel outclassed.
