...me, it would appear, in my contest to predict the election result.

There's probably enough seats declared that the figures won't change now, and my guess of Conservatives 36%, Labour 29%, Lib Dems 25%, Other 10% is closest to the actual 36%/29%/23%/12%.

well done. I am astonished that the Lib Dems have 23% but only 51 seats.

We really need reform.

Everybody overestimated the Lib Dems, and almost everybody underestimated the Conservatives and Others. Special mention goes to [livejournal.com profile] ffutures, who overestimated the Lib Dems the most, and [livejournal.com profile] evil_mogwai who underestimated the Conservatives the most while being the only one to overestimate the Others.

My idea of using root-sum-squared difference turned out to make no difference at all to most positions compared to sum of absolute difference, only causing [livejournal.com profile] ffutures and [livejournal.com profile] evil_mogwai to swap last place.
