Gosh, they make it look as if you live out in beautiful empty countryside. I, too, have taken photos outside but mostly of cars sliding sideways into each other, to prove to the office that I can't get out (if asked).
We've actually now got more snow than is in your photos (you probably have too). In central Croydon! I couldn't get to East Croydon station let alone to work.
As I currently seem to be walking home from work four out of five work nights I can't say I envy you your snow. A winter wonderland (and you certainly have a most magnificent winter wonderland around your flat currently) is all very well if you are free enough from worldly duties to simply enjoy it. If on the other hand it's after midnight and you're walking home because the last bus departed an hour before then it's far better to be in the middle of an Australian summer than an English winter. i bet that fox would agree with me too.
