Indeed! We've managed to shoehorn some 16 bookcases into a 3 bedroom semi and even they are not quite enough. I think we have some tough decisions to make on what can be archived to the loft after the Christmas haul of new books. I'm voting for the cookery books to go. :)
I'm currently looking at putting four or five into one bedroom alone (would be seven, but there's a staircase to the attic and one corner will be needed for the massive racking system for the vinyl and record deck.
