Apparently, we live in the only part of the UK where prices of new-build flats are increasing.

I am amused by the guy called Doug, advising people not to buy the properties but instead to wait till the developers have gone bust.

The developers going bust? When they are selling well enough to be able to raise prices? Does he not realise that a moron has a better grasp of finance than he does?

So, they would have run 400-600K last year?

No, in the similar new block next door, the one bedroom flats were about 320K, two bedroom for 400K. So about 20% down from that.
