We had one of those ring-knecked parakeets in our garden yesterday. It made an enormous amount of noise, louder than seagulls, which made us look out the window. They're going to be a real pain in a few years when we've all got thousands of them.
Ooh! Will send you a six-pack of sulpher-crested cockatoos right away. Once you've had a party of them shrieking outside your window for a while everything else seems tame.
