More Birds

I'm reasonably sure that this one really is a coal tit, although the photo doesn't prove much. Smaller than a great tit and considerably drabber than either a great tit or a blue tit. So it goes back on the list.
The two larger gulls in this photo pretty much have to be great black-backed gulls, given how much bigger they are than the smaller one. They were on the far side of the Thames, but still on the Thames, not on the Wapping shore.
I had scored a wren, but didn't have a photo. Here's a horribly blurred one, but it's good enough to identify the species.
I also got better photos of birds I'd already photographed. Here's a goldfinch -- there was a big flock of them just the other side of Surrey Water.
A long-tailed tit -- still not a great shot, but better than the previous one.
And a nice shot of a robin in full (and ear-splitting) song.
The score now is 35 birds (needing photos of chaffinch and kingfisher) and two mammals (no photo of a fox).
To help me keep track: 1. great crested grebe, 2. mute swan, 3. coot, 4. lesser black-backed gull, 5. blue tit, 6. tufted duck, 7. blackbird, 8. stock dove (actually, I'm dubious about this one), 9. black-headed gull, 10. Oh, and 1. grey squirrel, 2. fox -- but that's easier to keep track of.
