Just a quick post to say that issues 38 & 39 of Plokta are online here, and also point out that it's eligible for the Best Fanzine Hugo. We urge all members of Denvention 3 and Anticipation to nominate, whether or not they choose to nominate Plokta

I don't know if there's reason for concern but while I received the latest paper copy on Friday both cdave and johncoxon said they hadn't yet.

johncoxon is on our mailing list, but of course it's gone to Peterborough not Leicester. cdave isn't on the list -- he needs to send us a loc or something, or join the convention.

Odd. Based on LoCs, though, it arrived in Australia before Walthamstow, so it may just be the London post being its usual self!

Thanks for letting me know -- it looks fine on my machine, which is using Apple's native PDF support instead of Acrobat Reader. What version of Acrobat Reader do you have?

I'm seeing the same thing as the_gardener. Using Acrobat Reader 9.0.0.

Should be fixed now. Thanks for the reports. Next time I'll check in Acrobat Reader as well as Apple Preview.

I won't see this. And any LoC that suddenly appears for issue 39 in the next few days is only because I am currently attempting to rationalise my book piles, and filing (a.k.a tidy my room).

(I haven't made time to think about the con. It's in my calendar though. I must look at costs soon)

Have you got it yet? Be warned that it's A5 and looks suspiciously like a Tesco mailshot if you're not paying attention when you open your post.
